Dyllan Rankin drew upon broad legal experience and a commitment to serving the community in opening the Rankin Law Firm. He focuses his practice on providing legal solutions for complex problems, helping those injured by no fault of their own, and protecting the rights of individuals suffering through adverse circumstances.
Dyllan received his undergraduate degree from Washington and Lee University, where he played football and received a scholarship to study international law and politics in Tokyo, Japan. He received his law degree at the Charleston School of Law, where he served on the honor council, the executive leadership committee and was president of three student organizations.
Before entering law school, Dyllan gained broad legal experience in Washington, DC, working in various capacities for a member of the United States Congress, a small general counsel’s office, and an international litigation firm.
Prior to opening the Rankin Law Firm, Dyllan was an associate at a Charleston area law firm gaining valuable experience in personal injury litigation, criminal defense, and family law.
Dyllan is a former adjunct professor at the Charleston School of Law in the Legal Research Analysis & Writing program. He currently serves on Board of Trustees for the Charleston County Public Library system and the alumni board for the Charleston School of Law. In 2017, Dyllan was selected to the list of South Carolina rising stars.
Outside of the office
Outside of the office, Dyllan is an avid runner, sports fan and enjoys spending time with his wife, Anna, and their dog, Booker outdoors in Charleston.
